Have you been looking for authentic and I mean true authentic Cuban food? If you haven’t been to Lugo’s you’re missing out! Make sure to bring cash, it’s a cash only establishment. The food is delicious and cooked to perfection! No matter what you get you can’t go wrong. Be patient, service is consistent and the staff is very nice. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is comfortable. The history behind this gem is interesting and the food never disappoints.

This place was fantastic! If you love plantains... get here quick! The service was good, the atmosphere was like a family situation, super chilled and loved it, and the food... ooooohhhh the food!!! YUMMO!!!

This restaurant came highly rated and lived up to the hype. The food was very good and the glass of soda was massive. The waitress was very personable and attentive. We’ll be back.

the staff was very friendly and the interior is incredibly nice. almost shockingly good for this quite little tucked away restaurant. the cuban sandwich was very good with rice and beans as a side. very cheap prices for the quality of the food. you can observe the cooks prepare your food from the comfortable clean booths of the dining room

I had the best Cuban sandwich that I have ever tasted, and it was thick and huge. I haven’t been to Cuba or Miami but Lugo’s is closer and it was a really good sandwich. The generous amount of meats were seasoned perfectly and served between perfectly pressed flaky and crunchy homemade bread. The pork sandwich, Tostones Rellenos, Jenny’s Special, Pollo Relleno Camarones, and Ropa Vieja were all superb too. All the food coming out of the kitchen looks delicious and generous portions. It is cash only which we are fine with, and they have an ATM machine. I can’t blame them for not wanting to deal with credit card fees. There is a history of the place/bar on the back of the menu worth reading. I only wish they served Yucca fries as a side option with their sandwiches because they would be a unique diversion from French fries. Sides here are French fries, rice and beans or sweet plantains, which are all very good. We made numerous visits recently and tried different entrees which were all delicious. Lolly, our server, is wonderful and always makes us feel welcome.

One of my top favorite restaurants of all time. I started coming here three years ago when I was looking for a home in the area and what a hidden gem! The restaurant is family owned and operated and the food is fresh everyday, made by the owner himself. The menu is limited but you will be more than happy with any meal chosen. They have specials everyday written on the board and I usually try and order from there since they are not regular meal items. I will ALWAYS get an empanada if they are available because they are way too good to pass up! They are cash only but have an ATM right inside that is available. Also, you can’t order alcohol off the menu but can purchase at the bar area and bring to your table. This is a must try place if you are in the area. The family is so kind and hard working, I cannot say enough great things about this place!

If you want delicious authentic Cuban food, this is definitely the place to go! The Paella was delicious! It had lobster, shrimp, mussels and mahi mahi throughout the dish along with plantain's! Others at our table had Cuban sandwiches and a stuffed chicken with shrimp in it! We highly recommend this restaurant! It is cash only.
